Cotonsport, Vipers, TP Mazembe, Motema Pembe lose at home on Day 3 of 6. 

The third day of action was generally one of celebrations for the hosts. But exception was taken for Coton Sport who lost in Garoua to visiting Al-Hilal 1-2 in spite of the fact that the hosts opened scores in their CAF Champions League tie on Friday. In the same tournament, Vipers were disunited before Simba in Kampala 0-1. In the CAF Confederation Cup, Rivers United with one man down edged hosts, Motema Pembe 0-1 in Luanda. In another surprise of the same competition, Congolese giants, TP Mazembe collapsed at home before Tunisia’s US Monastir 0-2.

Day 4 of 6 gets underway on Wednesday, March 8.

In the CAF Champions League, the following results were registered on day 3 of 6:                     Al-Merrikh 1 0 CR Belouizdad; Coton Sport 1 2 Al-Hilal; Wydad AC 1 0 Petro Luanda; Vita Club 1 0 JS Kabylie; ES Tunis 2 0 Zamalek; Vipers 0 1 Simba; Raja CA 2 0 Horoya; Al Ahly 2 2 Mamelodi Sundowns. Day 4 of 6 is scheduled for Saturday, March 4 and Tuesday, March 7.
