Dominik Livaković (Croatia) made 3 saves in the penalty shootout vs Japan in the round of 16 of 2022 World Cup and became the record co-holder of the tournament in this category.
Livakovic became also the first goalkeeper to stop the first 2 penalties of a tiebreaker in the entire history of the World Cup.
