*Pelé is still the only player in World Cup history to score being younger than 18. He was 17 years 239 days young when he scored his first goal (vs Wales) at 1958 edition. 

*Other Pelé records set in 1958 are also alive: the youngest ever hat-trick scorer (17 years 244 days old vs France) and the youngest scorer in a final game (17 years 249 days vs Sweden).

*The only other teenager to score in a World Cup final is Kylian Mbappé (France, 2018, vs Croatia at 19 years 207 days).

*The youngest European scorer is Michael Owen (England): vs Romania in 1998 at 18 years 190 days.

*The only pair of teenagers to score in the same game is Nicolae Kovács and Constantin Stanciu (Romania): both scored in 1930 vs Peru being resp. 18 years 197 days and 19 years 92 days old.

*The youngest player to score a poker in a World Cup match was Ernst Wilimowski (Poland, vs Brazil in 1938, 21 years 347 days old).
