IFFHS ranking for players with most club international games

We publish for the first time the ranking of players with most games in official international club competitions. As we reported, Cristiano Ronaldo became the first ever player to reach 200 such games.
Xavi and Iker Casillas retired in 2019 having missed just few games to this milestone. The first stopped his career at 195 and the second at 193.
CR7 took over the world record from Xavi on 3 November 2021 when he played his 196th club international game (for Manchester United vs Atalanta, 2-2 away).
His 200 games are resulted from 188 in Champions League, 3 in UEFA Cup/Europa League, 2 in UEFA SuperCup and 8 in Club World Cup.
19 players have reached at the moment 150+ games; 8 of them active. Some of players have played in the tournaments of two different confederations.
