Petro de Luanda vs Wydad AC, and Al-Ahly vs ES Sétif are CAF CL semifinals.

The four emerged from a weekend of second leg quarterfinals marked by competitive football. The first and second leg semifinals are scheduled for Friday, 6 May and Friday, 13 May, respectively.

As early as Friday, 22 April ES Sétif defeated ES Tunis at Stade Olympique de Radès 0-1 thanks to a 21st minute strike by Abdelmoumene Djabou to go through on a 0-1 aggregate. Same day at the Stade Mohammed V Raja Casablanca played to a 1-1 draw with Al-Ahly to go through on a 2-3 aggregate. Raja’s Fabrice Ngoma had opened scores on  5 minutes. Al Ahly’s  Mohamed Abdelmonem equalized on 44 minutes.

On Saturday evening, Mamelodi Sundowns played to a 1-1 draw with Petro de Luanda at their home turf at FNB stadium Johannesburg to allow the visitors qualify on a 2-3 aggregate. Brian Mandela raised the curtains on 49 minutes. Tiago Azulao equalized from the spot on 64 minutes. And Wydad Athletic Club and CR Belouizdad played to a 0-0 tie at the Stade Mohammed V to see Wydad qualify in a match in which CRB lost goalkeeper Toufik Moussaoui to a red card four minutes to the end of regular playing time.
