*Spain stopped Italy's streak of 13 wins in a row and retained its own World record (15 consecutive wins).
*At the same time, Italy maintains its unbeaten streak (33 matches in a row) and is already just 2 short of equaling the World record shared by Spain and Brazil (35 games).
*Spain became the first team in Euro history to play extra-times in 3 consecutive games and 2nd such team in the major tournaments (after Croatia in World Cup 2018).Previously, there was one case with 3 extra-times played by a team in an Euro edition (Portugal in 2016) but they weren’t consecutive.
