The IFFHS Men World’s Best Goal Scorer 2021 at April, 30 : Lewandowski still on top despite injury break

Robert Lewandowski missed almost the entire April due to injury, but maintained the lead in the ranking. The Pole managed to play only one game after his recovery and scored a goal in it, increasing his tally to 26 goals.
Taking advantage of his forced break, the pursuers got a bit closer to him: Lionel Messi accumulated 24 goals in the first third of 2021, Kylian Mbappé 23 goals.

The Kenyan Michael Olunga became the main hero of April, having scored 12 goals inside the month for his club Al Duhail, 9 of them in the Asian Champions League.
