A few days before IFFHS will announce THE WORLD'S BEST CLUBS OF THE SECOND DECADE (2011-2020), we publish to remember the resultants of the rankings of the First Decade (2001-2010). The outcome of the African Club Ranking is similar to the World Club Ranking, taking in consideration all the results of each club (annual IFFHS World Club Ranking) in the ten years of the Decade.
The two tunisian clubs completed the Podium.
Egypt's Al Ahly Cairo was crowned in the first Decade before the two Tunisian clubs, Esperance Sportive Tunis and Etoile Sportive Sahel.
