XU YANG LEADS THE RANKING AT END JULY

With only Copa America final stages, CONCACAF Gold Cup, Copa Libertadores, African Cup competitions and a few internationals played in july 2015, Chinese Xu Yang still tops the poll of The World’s Best Top Goalscorer.

Yang scored 5 goals for Chinese National Team and 6 for his club, Shandong Luneng Taishan FC. He is followed by United States forward Clint Dempsey (Seattle Sounders FC), UAE’s Ahmed Khalil (Al Ahli Dubaï) and Brazil’s Neymar (FC Barcelona) with 9 goals each.

50 players scored 5 or more goals. they are 15 South Americans, 13 Asians, 11 Europeans, 6 africans, 4 from CONCACAF and one from Oceania. By football club, 17 play in Europe, 17 in Asia, 9 in South America, 3 in CONCACAF, 3 in Africa and 1 in Oceania.

With 5 players, Argentina has the most number of goalscorers in the list, followed by Brazil with 3. For clubs, 3 clubs have the most players with 2 : Club America (Mexico) with Oribe Peralta 8 and Dario Benedetti 6 , FC Barcelona (Spain) and FC Bayern München (Germany).
